3-05-10: I'm hard at work on the new website design for Version 6, and just gave Ben the first few drafts of my design ideas.  He loves what I've got, so I'm happy to say that things are going smoothly and that hopefully we'll be able to get this update rolling and have the website edited soon.

Apart from that, I've been working on some scripts and ideas for 2 or 3 new webseries I want to shoot this summer.  I've already got a few people interested acting-wise, and they're faces we haven't seen before, which is a good thing.  Hopefully we can start shooting some stuff in April and carry on through the summer.

Oh, and one last thing.  We're going to get Austin, Canaan, Ben and I together when Ben gets back in May to.... FILM IDIOTS ON PARADE 3! It's been a long time coming, but hopefully this year the time is right for us to do it.  I'm excited.  You should be excited, and your pets should be excited.

Ok, that's all for now.  Asta la vista, baby!

2-10-10: Good news everybody!  I know I haven't been posting much lately, that's because I just started school again and have been working a lot.  but I've also been cooking up ideas for a new webseries, which I'm sure will blow everyone away.  More details soon!

12-28-09: What an amazing weekend of filming!  As you may or may not know, Ben is back in town and we met up this weekend to film and got some amazing stuff done.  We finished a new NDI Original which can be seen here, as well as a new Film Fights entry, which is here.  Don't forget to vote for our entry!

We've also got a new Door to Door episode coming and hope to film the last 2 episodes sometime before Ben leaves for Arizona again.  I'm also working on the Chet Edge script and another video for the Squeeze In, so we'll be pretty busy with some great stuff!  Thanks again for all the support, and hope you guys had a good christmas (or whatever else you celebrate)

Peace!

12-9-09: Wow it's been a long time since I've had a blog post!  Sorry for the delay.  But I'm happy to say that there is a lot going on!  We're still releasing a new video each week, so be sure to stay up to date on the youtube page!

Also, I have exciting news!  I did a video a few months back for the Squeeze In restaurant.  It was an audition tape for the Food Network, and this weekend the Food Network came to the Squeeze!  The Food Network came to film an episode of "Throwdown with Bobby Flay," and I've gotta say, it was awesome!  I'm super stoked for the episode and I'll let you guys know when it airs.

Apart from that, everything has been more behind the scenes. I'm working on polishing the Ask Questions Later scripts to see if we can start production, and have even added a new poster and page to the website.  The poster can be seen on the home page, and clicking on it will take you to the new page for Ask Questions Later.  I'm also developing a new script, probably 4 or 5 episodes, about superheroes.  Kind of.  It won't be along the same lines as Batwoman was, this will be more of a real life take.  I'm pretty excited about it and I'll keep you up to date as the scripts get written.

One more thing: Ben is flying back into town at the end of the week, so expect to see a LOT of great stuff produced while he's back.

Until next time: stay classy, internets.

11-7-09: Happy to say that things are still rolling!  I've got a couple scripts for new shows in the works, and we've been releasing more videos!  The latest is a short film I shot with my little brother a few months back, Ze Experiment.  It's a really fun one and one of the favorite ones we've done, so be sure to check it out!  Also, we're back to regularly updating the website, and hopefully it won't be unattended for so long!

I think that's pretty much all, if I think of anything else... you'll be the first to know.

11-4-09: November already?!  Holy cow!  This year has flown by and I can't believe how productive it's been. There are SO many things I have finished that we have yet to release, and a few more things in the works.  I'm currently teaming up with Jaide and Pat to produce a pilot for Channel 101, which is a website that hosts webseries.  The pilot's not due till January so we're taking our time, but lemme tell you: it's gonna be awesome.  I can't give away too many details, but you'll love it, I promise.

And I submitted another film to Film Fights, this one about what Money Can't Buy.  I don't know if I'll upload it to youtube, I think I might just leave it as a Film Fights exclusive so that you guys can go check out the site for yourselves. It's a lot of fun and they deserve all the support they can get. Anyway, check out my film by clicking the picture below (I just love adding pictures the the blog, sorry!)

Other than a couple little changes to the site, everything should be normal.  I think i'll be releasing another video soon, since Halloween is over, but I just love Job Zombie so much it's hard to let it go.  Soon though, I promise you!

Alright everyone, that's all for now.  Hope you had a good Halloween and now have lots of cavities.  Peace!

10-27-09: Hello everyone!   Wow, it's been a hell of a long time since I've updated the blog.  That's because there's so much going on!  Aside from working a lot, I've been filming a couple more things and editing some Behind the Scenes videos for a couple of the NDI Originals.  Also, I've teamed up with Pat and entered the world of Film Fights.  Don't know what Film Fights is?  It's an awesome community of people who run a film competition online.  Every other week or so they give you a topic and set of rules for a short film, and you have to submit it and your film battles the other entries.  There is no prize except internet honor, but it's fun and the people that run the operation are great and I've been following their work for some time now.  I highly suggest everyone head over to the site and see for themselves, and be sure to look us up, because we'll be entering as many fights as we can!  We made a video for the first fight, which was Halloween themed.  Click on the image below to see the film over at the Film Fights website (it's also over at youtube).

That's all for now.  Hopefully I'll be back to updating things regularly again, but we'll see.  For now, peace out!

10-2-09: Hi everyone, and welcome to Version 5 of the NDI Studios website!  Do you like it?  I did a massive overhaul the other day and a lot of things have changed.  I personally like it a lot more than the old design, it just looks nice and modern and frankly a lot cooler.  A lot of things still need some fine tuning, which I'll get to, so be patient.  It'll all be finished soon!

2-25-10: So expect some new updates to come rolling around over the next month.  James and I are working on a MAJOR site update, and by MAJOR, I mean everything is going to recieve a facelift.  This time, however, James and I are working totally in sync, so we won't have the push-pull effect going on like when we upgraded to v5.  Expect v6 to have lots of new bells and whistles, and expect it to be even more functional and video-focused that v5 is.  Pretty much all I'm saying here is that a lot of the site is going to be down or under construction for the next month or so, but we'll try not to impede your viewing pleasure.

In other news, there will be a new Bullsh?t episode released in the next day or so.  It's all edited, and I'm just waiting on some audio data before I export it and upload it to YouTube.  I'll post a link when that's ready.  Chao!

1-28-10: So, NDI Arizona hasn't released anything in a while, but that's about to change very soon.  I'm working on something big right now, and I'm not even sure if I'll be able to complete it (and lets face it, a normal film project is "big" for me under these conditions).  However, I did manage to pump out a game in only a couple days (before Gamemaker 8 freaked out on me and crashed that is), so I'll be uploading that puppy in a couple minutes before I go to class.  Hopefully I'll have that new project filmed and edited in the next week.

Keep it reel! (Yes, "reel")

1-12-10: I realize that it's really bad karma when I haven't made a log entry in over two months, but I really had nothing to report until now.  As James has told you, he and I had some epic filming time in which we got out some more stuff for Door to Door (along with a couple other short films).  I'm hyped up about it, and I'm really going to try this semester to get down to business.  Lately, NDIA has been very lazy in turning out anything, but I'm making a pledge to finish the Door to Door series and continue on with both Bullsh?t and the Keep it Reel films (ala Frame of Mind).

Also, I'll hopefully get some Cooliris action going on the website here.  If you don't know what Cooliris is, you can Google it or just wait around and see, and I'm going to try to work with James to perhaps make the site more navigable than it is now (I'm finding pages that I forgot existed, so you can understand my surprise).  Anyway, I'm going to talk more with him before I touch it, so we'll figure that out.  And maybe (just maybe) I'll finish constructing GoldenGlobe.  Those are my goals, and we'll see how they play out.

Adios for now!

10-21-09: Good lord has it been a while since I've done anything.  Between school, work, and planning for my girlfriend's birthday in a couple days (not to mention spending lots of time working with James over the phone working on the website) I haven't turned out a single thing.  I've got a video in the lineup of releases we have in store, but still not much.  To compound that, I've switched majors and will probably be moving to an East-Coast school next year, so that means only one more semester of the soon-to-be short-lived NDI Arizona.  However, all is not lost.  I finally have a free weekend coming up, and with any luck I can finally turn out something.  Hopefully, we can finish Door to Door, or perhaps film another Bullsh?t, but whatever we could film would be nice.

I'm digging the look of the site, however.  My issue was that, while James' new design kicked some major ass, the functionality of it was severely compromised.  But, he and I worked it out and now we bring you the beauty that is NDISTUDIOS V5.  We both hope you like it's look and feel and that you are pleased with how it flows.  Be sure to check the new videos James has put out!  Peace.

10-5-09: Wow, things sure have changed since I was last here.  I'm going to hold off on giving my opinion on the new version until I've had a chance to talk over the site's functions with James this afternoon.  After I do that and make the coding changes and such and such, the new Version 5 will be up and running smoothly. (Apologies to IE8 users who cannot find their way around at the moment, that's one of the things we'll be fixing)

I'll log in some more after that's all said and done, but I'll be getting some more films up and hopefully (cross your fingers) GoldenGlobe finished soon.  School is eating my time for breakfast.  Figures.
